Gov Ayade's Cala Vegas experience set back from FG

Unconfirmed reports suggests that Cala Vegas one of the proposed new mega cities of Cross River Governor, Senator Professor Ben Ayade is reportedly experiencing a set back from the Federal Government of Nigeria NegroidHaven has garnered. 

According to influential social commentator, Ifere Paul, the FG has directed the Cross River State Government to desist promptly from the construction of the mega city at the Calabar Channel. 

It will be recalled that Gov Ayade had directed the de-bushing of that area for the proposed Calas Vegas and Resorts. Also, the governor has propose to build three of such new mega cities.  

The federal government issued this directive in preparation for the dredging of the Calabar Channel. According to the information, the standing island proposed by the Cross River Governor for the development of Calas Vegas will all be dredge to allow bigger vessels to berth at the Calabar Port. 


It seems the Executive Governor of Cross River state is not consulting widely before he embarks on policy implementation.
