Commissioner for Sports and Cinematography resumes work

The immediate past Honourable Commissioner for Information Communication Technology has resumed work as the newly appointed Commissioner for Sports and Cinematography in Cross River State NEGROIDHAVEN can state categorically.

Chief Onun O. E. Aya was cited as he arrived the complex of the Ministry of Youth which was formerly Ministry of Youth and Sports. He met with his colleague, Signor Omang Idiege the Honourable Commissioner for Youths and Skills Acquisition and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Mrs. Maryjane Ngozi Ebri where he held a brief meeting with the duo before proceeding to the State Budget Office.

At the State Budget Office, Aya met with the management and staff of the office especially the Director of the office Mr Sylvanus Effiong, and Moses Onoh the Special Adviser to the Governor on Budget. After spending a while at the Budget Office where he perused through the budgetary provisions for his ministry as well as the the departments and agencies under his ministry, and called for a robust relationship between his ministry and the budget office, Commissioner Aya proceeded to the Ministry of Information and Orientation where he spent a stint with Commissioner Asu Okang.

Chief Aya then proceeded to Tinapa and then Sport Commission located in the state capital city (where he retired to his office).

Commissioner Aya promised to collaborate effectively with Idiege the Honourable Commissioner for Youths and Skills Acquisition.

The poise of Chief Aya suggested quite strongly that the Honourable Commissioner for Sports was eager to deliver on the mandate devolved on him by reason of the appointment by His Excellency the Executive Governor of Cross River. Aya promised to revamp sports in the state.
