4 States bordering C/River save 1 have confirmed cases of #COVID19

The four states save one bordering Cross River have confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus Disease 2019, COVID-19. According to the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC the states and the spread of the ravaging disease goes thus: Akwa Ibom has 11, Abia has 2, Benue has 1, and Ebonyi is 0. Then the Cameroon bordering Cross River in Bakassi has over 1, 000 cases.

As 11:23PM on 23rd April, the NCDC reported through her Facebook page Akwa Ibom added 2 additional cases which summed up to 11. This is despite the fact that the State Government of Akwa Ibom disagreed with the previous results of the NCDC about two weeks ago. 

As at 23rd April, by 11:30PM, Nigeria had 31 deaths and 197 discharged cases from 981 confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus. 

Globally, we've 2,733,599 confirmed cases, 191,185 deaths (which is 80%), 751,404 recoveries (which is 20%). Again, we have 1,791,010 active cases in which 1,732,298 (that is 97%) are mild condition while 58,712 (3%) are in serious or critical condition. 

All these statistics are in 210 countries and territories. While the 10 countries with the highest level of the infection are as follows: United States (886,709 confirmed cases), Spain (213,024), Italy (189,973), France (158,183), Germany (153,129), UK (138,078), Turkey (101,790), Iran (87,026), China (82,804) and Russia (68,622). 

Covid-19 was first reported in Wuhan in China in December 2019. World Health Organisation, WHO, would later declare it a pandemic. It was first reported in Nigeria in the City of Lagos in 28th February.
